This rapid review by SACN assesses the evidence on vitamin D and acute respiratory tract infections (ARTI) that has been published since the SACN report on Vitamin D and Health (2016). An updated rapid review on vitamin D and ARTI was published in December 2020, following publication of the first rapid review in June 2020.
In December 2020, NICE, with input from SACN, also updated the rapid guideline on vitamin D and COVID-19 (initially published in spring 2020).
