Details

The Rough Sleeping Questionnaire was first run in 2019 to provide detailed information on rough sleeping experiences to the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government (MHCLG).

It was repeated in 2025 to continue MHCLG’s mission to improve services for people who sleep rough, and those at risk of sleeping rough, with the help of the latest data.

These reports summarise the analysis of the questionnaire responses and include expanded analysis of:

  • mental health
  • the free-text responses
  • the experiences of women

The findings provide key insights into the experiences of those who sleep rough.
