Details

An independent review into the ongoing need for government support for training and skills development in the maritime industry was undertaken in two phases. The 2nd phase, setting out the conclusions and recommendations presented to the Shipping Minister was undertaken by an independent panel comprising five specialists from the maritime industries and an independent chair from the education and skills sector. This publication sets out the recommendations of phase 2.
