  1. Updated: Registered title(s): whole transfer (TR1) attachments

  2. A side note to panel 6 has been amended to replace a reference to "electronic address" with "email address" for clarity.

  3. Panels 4 and 5 have been amended as a result of the Land Registration (Amendment) Rules 2022.

  4. We have added a side note to the execution panel in the form to point customers to our practice guide 8: execution of deeds.

  5. We added a guidance note about our personal information charter, which explains how we process customer data.

  6. We have added side notes to panels 3 and 12 to clarify that the transfer must be dated. That date being the day of completion.

  7. Advice as to the completion of the form has been added.

  8. The side notes to panels 4 and 5 have been amended to clarify that all persons assenting and being shown as registered proprietor must be shown in the relevant panel.

Land registration is complex, designed to protect legal and financial interests in property. There can be significant consequences for any error. Please consider seeking legal representation. Before making an application without legal representation, it is important to consider the benefits of using a conveyancer.

Use form TR1 to transfer the whole of the property in one or more registered titles. You may also use it to transfer unregistered property which is to be registered for the first time.

To transfer part of a registered title, use form TP1 instead.
