Homes England partners can use the Affordable Housing Grants Service to submit bids for funding from the Social and Affordable Homes Programme (SAHP) 2026 to 2036.
Bids for funding from the:
are made using the Investment Management System (IMS).
The IMS can still be used for completing Compliance Audit (CA) and Recycled Capital Grant Funding (RCGF) returns. Information on accessing the IMS can be found in the IMS guidance pages.
When the service is closed for funding bids partners can still use the system to view progress of existing funding bids.
How to access the Affordable Housing Grants Service
If your organisation is already set up on the service you should contact an administrator user to confirm individual user registration.
To register an organisation:
- apply for grants from SAHP 2026 as a Strategic Partnership
- apply for grants from SAHP 2026 using the Continuous Market Engagement (CME) funding route
Administrator users
All organisations must have at least 1 Affordable Housing Grants Service administrator user (the maximum number is 4).
An administrator user can grant access, permissions and authorities to other internal users within the same organisation. Internal users can then make changes to your organisational information, application and processing grant claims.
Changes to administrators must be verified to take effect.
Verify new administrators or make changes to existing administrators
If you are an Affordable Housing Grant partner you should already have set up an Affordable Housing Grants Service account.
Whether you have just set up your organisation or are an existing user amending access permissions you must complete the Affordable Housing Grants Service registration and authorised signatory form to verify administrators for your organisation. These can be found in the Affordable Housing Grants Service Administrator Registration Pack.
Your completed form showing any changes required should be emailed to servicedesk@homesengland.gov.uk.
