The Investment Management System (IMS) is now closed for new funding bids but Homes England partners can use the IMS to view the progress of existing bids for the:
Bids for funding from the Social and Affordable Homes Programme (SAHP) 2026 to 2036 are made using the Affordable Housing Grants Service.
When no funding schemes are open for bidding partners can still use the IMS to:
- complete Compliance Audit (CA) returns
- complete Recycled Capital Grant Funding (RCGF) returns
- view progress of existing funding bids
How to access IMS
If your organisation is already set up on IMS you should contact your security administrator to confirm individual user registration.
Security administrator users
All organisations must have at least 1 IMS security administrator user (the maximum number is 4).
A security administrator user can grant access, permissions and authorities to other internal users within the same organisation. Internal users can then make changes to your organisational information, application and processing grant claims.
Changes to security administrators must be verified to take effect.
Set up your organisation on IMS
If your organisation is not currently set up on IMS and you now need access to complete a:
- Compliance Audit return
- RCGF return
you must complete a security administrator form. This can be found in the IMS Security Administrator Registration Pack. Your completed form should be emailed to servicedesk@homesengland.gov.uk.
If your organisation has confirmed administrator users on the Affordable Housing Grants Service and requires access to IMS for completion of a Compliance Audit or RCGF return, email provider.onboarding@homesengland.gov.uk to request IMS access.
Verify changes to existing security administrators
If your organisation is already registered on IMS, you can change your security administrators.
You must complete the IMS security administrator form. This can be found in the IMS Security Administrator Registration Pack.
Your completed form showing any changes required should be emailed to servicedesk@homesengland.gov.uk.
Technical requirements to access IMS
For security reasons you will need to install Citrix software on the computer you will be using to access IMS.
