Details
Investment partner qualification (IPQ) is required to receive funding from Homes England for the development of affordable housing through the Social and Affordable Homes Programme (SAHP) 2026 to 2036.
The investment partner application form has 4 sections:
- section 1 — applicant information
- section 2 — statement of good standing
- section 3 — financial and commercial standing
- section 4 — managing development
Registered providers and local authorities do not need to complete section 3. This is because:
- information about the financial and commercial standing of registered providers will already have been submitted to the Regulator of Social Housing (RSH)
- local authority finances are governed by the Local Government Act and Local Government Finance Act
Before you complete the form, read the investment partner application guidance.
The guidance also tells you what to do if:
- you are an existing investment partner and your circumstances change
- your investment partner status has lapsed
