MGN 583 (F) Amendment 1 ILO Fishermen's work agreements

Fishermen working on a fishing vessel engaged in commercial operations, must have a fisherman’s work agreement (FWA), setting out their terms and conditions.

This notice should be read with the merchant shipping (work in fishing convention) regulations 2018 and replaces MGN 583.

Amendment 1 has added guidance notes on the model agreements within the annexes.
