The Jet Zero Taskforce provides strategic leadership and takes an outcome-focussed, whole systems approach to support innovation, economic growth and the decarbonisation of the UK aviation sector.

The group is jointly chaired by Keir Mather MP (Minister for Aviation, Maritime and Decarbonisation) and Holly Boyd- Boland (Senior Vice President, Corporate Development and Legal Affairs, Virgin Atlantic). The group convenes industry and government stakeholders to identify, and advise on, unblocking the key barriers in delivering greener aviation through focussed task and finish groups.

The Jet Zero Taskforce 2025 annual report contains a: 

• foreword from the Minister for Aviation, Maritime and Decarbonisation   
• summary of achievements made towards aviation decarbonisation in 2025 by government and industry 
• summary of the work of the four 2025 task and finish groups
