A series of example letters sent to DLA claimants to invite them to start a claim for Personal Independence Payment.

     Four new versions of sample letters have been added for 'Your Disability Living Allowance is ending' - (PIP.0185), (PIP.0201) (PIP.0202) and (PIP.0204),

  2. 6 December 2018

     Updated letters 0201, 0202 and 0204 - change to eligible age range for PIP.

These are examples of letters sent to existing Disability Living Allowance (DLA) claimants, inviting them to begin a claim for the new Personal Independence Payment (PIP). The letters cover:

The letters also explain what will happen if the individual chooses not to claim PIP.
