Forms to record accommodation and care arrangements for imported animals or animals being moved to a new premises under the CITES regulations.
The Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES) regulates the import, (re)export, sale or movement of endangered wild animals and plants. These are listed in Annexes A, B, C and D of the EU Regulation 750/2013
The new owner of an animal listed in Annex A must apply for permission to move the animal to a new premises. This is to ensure that the accommodation is suitable and that the animal is protected and cared for properly. The first form applies to animals subject to a movement restriction condition on a CITES import permit, a commercial use certificate or a previously issued certificate.
The other forms should be completed if you are applying to import a CITES listed animal into the UK. This is so APHA can ensure the animals will be kept in suitable conditions and cared for properly before the import is authorised.
