Cultural education in England: an independent review

This report contains the findings from an independent review of cultural education in England, undertaken towards the end of 2010 by Darren Henley.

Detail

This independent review of cultural education in England follows on from the independent review of music education in England, which was undertaken towards the end of 2010, at the request of the Secretary of State for Education and the Minister for Culture, Communications and Creative Industries.

The government asked Darren Henley to investigate how cultural organisations can create an offer which fulfils the needs of schools to provide a broad and truly rounded education for their students, and how to ensure that all opportunities are as good as the best.
