COVID-19 Response: Summer 2021

The government has published the ‘Moving to Step 4 of the roadmap’ document. This sets out the essential actions that everybody should take to protect themselves and others while prevalence is high, as we transition towards learning to live with COVID-19. The ‘COVID-19 Response: Summer 2021’ sets out the shape of step 4 of the roadmap.

  6. Updated guidance on coronavirus: how to stay safe and help prevent the spread guidance. Added information on self isolation exemptions for people who are fully vaccinated or under 18, which comes into effect on 16 August.

The government’s roadmap out of lockdown was published in February 2021 and set out four steps on the roadmap out of lockdown. We have set out the shape of Step 4 and beyond as we transition towards learning to live with COVID-19.
