Bob Neill MP

Biography

Bob Neill was Parliamentary Under Secretary of State at the Department for Communities and Local Government from May 2010 to September 2012. He was elected Conservative MP for Bromley and Chislehurst on 29 June 2006.

He was educated at Abbs Cross Grammar School, Hornchurch and the London School of Economics, where he studied law. He went on to work as a barrister specialising in criminal law.

He was Shadow Minister for Communities and Local Government from 2007 to 2010.

Bob has served as a Local Borough Councillor and as a Member of the GLC, and was Leader of the Greater London Authority’s Conservative Group. He is patron of 2 charities - the Bromley Community Fund and Advocacy First Bromley.
