Unavailability of DVLA’s vehicle system
DVLA’s vehicles system will be unavailable from 6pm Friday 19 July until 8am Monday 22 July.
When calling DVLA during this time we will be unable to issue replacement V5C vehicle registration certificates or check on a vehicle application you have already made. We will only be able to deal with general vehicle-related enquiries.
Taxing your vehicle online
Our vehicle online services will be available as normal. You can use this service to tax, declare SORN or make a vehicle enquiry.
Driving licence services
Our driving licence services will not be affected by this.
You will be able to phone or use our online services as normal.

Change the address on your driving licence
Replace a lost, stolen, damaged or destroyed driving licence
Renew your driving licence if you’re 70 or over
Change the photo on your driving licence
