About KLS
UKHSA Knowledge and Library Services (KLS) help eligible staff find and use the best available evidence for public health. Our work supports decisions, policies, and practice that protect and improve the nation’s health. We provide a range of expert knowledge, library and evidence services.
Access literature and evidence resources
MyAthens - your starting point for access to research and evidence
MyAthens is a platform that provides access to UKHSA’s journals, databases and eBooks, helping you find research and evidence independently.
Once logged in, you can:
- Search for specific articles using Discovery search
- Browse journals with BrowZine
- Explore databases for wider research
UKHSA staff can log in with single sign-on. Other eligible staff need an OpenAthens account. For more information, refer to the services page for your organisation in the ‘Access our services’ section below.
If you need a specialist search carried out on your behalf, use the literature search service.
