Regulatory alerts: Charity Commission

Alerts and warnings issued by the commission about particular risks or vulnerabilities which could affect charities and their operations.

As part of the Charity Commission’s regulatory compliance work, which includes liaison with charities, sector umbrella bodies and other agencies, it may become aware of particular risks or vulnerabilities which potentially affect charities and their operations.

Where appropriate, the commission raises awareness of particular risks facing charities as they come to its attention. Charity trustees need to be vigilant about those who want to exploit and abuse their charities.
