New Enterprise Allowance

Before December 2013, New Enterprise Allowance statistics were included in Get Britain Working statistics.

Employment Schemes

These publications include official statistics on:

  • work experience
  • sector-based work academy
  • skills conditionality

Pre-Work Programme support: mandatory programmes

This publication ended in November 2016. Publication of on-going statistics on skills conditionality is now reported under “Employment Schemes”.

These publications provided the following mandatory programmes statistics:

  • mandatory work activity referrals and starts (this scheme ended in March 2016)
  • skills conditionality initial provider interview, training placement and National Career Service referrals and starts

We also published an ad hoc statistical release of the early impacts of Mandatory Work Activity.

Youth Contract and Get Britain Working

This publication ended in August 2015. Publication of on-going statistics on work experience and sector-based work academies for all ages is now reported under “Employment Schemes”.

Youth Contract publications provided statistics on:

  • work experience and sector-based work academies
  • Youth Contract Wage Incentives

Statistics for work experience and sector-based work academy starts were previously published in Get Britain Working statistics.

We also published an ad hoc release of the early impacts of work experience.

Youth Obligation Support Programme

Youth Offer

This publication ended in August 2016. Publication of on-going statistics on work experience and sector-based work academies for all ages is now reported under “Employment Schemes”.

These statistics cover work experience and sector-based work academies for 18 to 24 year olds. These have been funded by the Youth Offer since April 2015.
