This publication includes NEA statistics:

  • from April 2011 to December 2021 for phase 1 of the scheme
  • any starts since phase 2 began (in April 2017) up to December 2021

This is the final release of NEA statistics.

The New Enterprise Allowance closed to new participants on 1 January 2022. Support will continue for those already accepted on to the programme.
