CLD processing error identified

We have identified an error in the data processing that impacts our latest published figures up to March 2026. We are investigating the full extent of the error and will publish corrected figures if we decide this is proportionate to do in line with our DHSC revisions and corrections policy.

This error also impacts the data up to June 2026, which was due for release on 1 October 2026. This release has been delayed while we fix the error and conduct further quality assurance. The exact date of publication will be confirmed in advance on the GOV.UK statistics release calendar.
