Chile earthquake
A tsunami alert was issued by the Chilean government on 2 May for parts of the Magallanes region following a 7.4 magnitude earthquake earlier today. Evacuation orders have been lifted but those in the affected areas have been asked to exercise caution in coastal areas. If you are in the region, you should follow the guidance of local authorities and monitor local media for updates.
