The British Embassy in Somalia maintains and develops relations between the UK and Somalia.

Our mission is to support Somalia in becoming a stable, secure and prosperous state.

The UK in Somalia is represented by the Department for International Development, Ministry of Defence, Stabilisation Unit and Foreign and Commonwealth Office. We also have Somalia-focused teams in Nairobi and Addis Ababa.

The British Embassy Mogadishu does not provide consular services. If you’re in Somalia or Somaliland you can contact the British High Commission Nairobi.

Find out more on our UK and Somalia news page. We provide services to British nationals living in and visiting Somalia. You can access UK government services while in Somalia.
