We maintain and develop relations between the UK and Somalia. The British Embassy in Mogadishu provides services to British nationals living in and visiting Somalia.

Our mission is to support Somalia in becoming a stable, secure and prosperous state.

The UK in Somalia is represented by the Department for International Development, Ministry of Defence, Stabilisation Unit and Foreign and Commonwealth Office. We also have Somalia-focused teams in Nairobi and Addis Ababa.

The British Embassy Mogadishu does not provide consular services. If you’re in Somalia or Somaliland you can contact the British High Commission Nairobi.
