You may be able to join the Registered Traveller Scheme if you’re from the USA, Canada, Japan, Australia or New Zealand. There is no fee to join the scheme.
The scheme lets you use the UK/EEA channels at border control and you won’t need a landing card if you fly into Gatwick or Heathrow.

Before you start
To join the pilot scheme you must:
- be from the United States of America, Canada, Japan, Australia or New Zealand
- be over 18
- have visited the UK at least 4 times in the last 52 weeks
- have been registered for the iris immigration registration system (IRIS)
- be coming to the UK as a visitor
The pilot scheme ends 31 March 2014. You’ll be contacted to register with the full scheme before this happens. You’ll have to pay a fee to join the full scheme.
