Get access to Pillar 2 Top-up Taxes as an agent

How to access and update a client's Domestic Top-up Taxes and Multinational Top-up Taxes if you’re an agent.

Before you start 

Check if your client needs to report Pillar 2 Top-up Taxes.

You’ll need an agent services account to access Pillar 2 Top-up Taxes for your client. You can create an agent services account if you do not already have one.

Get authorised using the digital handshake

Find out how to get authorised using the digital handshake so that you can access your client’s information in the Pillar 2 Top-up Taxes service.

Each of your clients will need to accept your digital handshake request before you can access their Pillar 2 Top-up Taxes information.

Sign in to your agent services account

Sign in to your agent services account to access the Pillar 2 Top-up Taxes service.  

Online services may be slow during busy times. Check if there are any problems with this service.

After you’ve signed in

You can now act as an agent for your client’s Pillar 2 Top-up Taxes and:

  • view, change and submit their Pillar 2 Top-up Taxes returns
  • contact HMRC about their current and previous Pillar 2 Top-up Taxes returns
  • view and change their Pillar 2 Top-up Taxes details, like contact details, accounting period and organisation type
  • provide repayment bank details to HMRC when a repayment is due
  • view their amounts owed and paid
