Details
Funding has been awarded to organisations including universities, specialist manufacturers, charities and cooperatives. All are working to increase the efficiency, sustainability and resilience of UK tree production.
Projects include using 3D X-ray technology to optimise seed quality, exploring rapid breeding techniques for conifers and developing automated tree grading systems using artificial intelligence.
