This calculator helps you score the results for a VTS site assessment.
If you carry out your own assessment you’ll need to refer to the ‘MOT site assessment risk scoring guide’ which provides the necessary scoring criteria. Further advice and information can also be found in the ‘Guide to MOT risk reduction’.
The calculator is set out in the same style as the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) site assessment form and contains the questions and scores used during a VTS site assessment.
The calculator will not amend your actual site assessment score but will indicate areas where you could improve and what effect this will have on your score.
The calculator should only be used as a guide as DVSA may amend the questions and scoring for site assessments at any time which may not reflect the scores used in your own current assessment.
