Details

This cyber security code of practice for shipping gives an overview of how a cyber attack could take place in the maritime domain.

It also provides actionable advice and best practice that industry should consider in alignment with International Maritime Organization regulations.

The guidance includes:

  • how to develop a cyber security assessment and plan to manage risk
  • protecting and building resilience against cyber attacks
  • handling security breaches and incidents
  • recovering quickly should an attack happen
  • the relationship of the code of practice to existing regulations
