Response to report on asylum claims on the basis of sexual orientation

UK Visas and Immigration responds to the report by John Vine on an investigation into the Home Office’s handling of asylum claims made on the grounds of sexual orientation.



The Independent Chief Inspector of Borders and Immigration made 8 recommendations; the Home Office accepted 7 of these in full and 1 in part. This response details what measures are being put in place to address the findings.
