This report compares the current week’s data on statutory notifications of causative agents to that of the previous 5 weeks.

Please note: the data for measles for week 9 2024 have been revised from 140 notifications to 57 notifications. The reason for this revision was a one-off event where a reporting laboratory had introduced a new test and reported incorrect data to UKHSA. Once the error was identified, the erroneous results were deleted from the UKHSA data warehouse. In addition, UKHSA are reviewing the approach to making users aware of revisions to the data in future.
