Details

This guidance has been jointly prepared by the UK environmental regulatory authorities - the Environment Agency (EA), Scottish Environment Protection Agency (SEPA) and the Environment and Heritage Service (EHS), part of the Department of the Environment (Northern Ireland) - to advise regulatory authority staff and the operators of large combustion plants (LCPs) within the NERP on the:

  • operation of the NERP trading scheme
  • verification of the reports of the annual mass emissions from the participating LCPs as required by the NERP Regulations
