In July 2014, the government announced the Mutuals in Health Pathfinder Programme, in response to the findings of an independent review of staff engagement and empowerment in the NHS.

The objectives of the programme were to support interested organisations to explore how a mutual model might increase staff engagement.

This report summarises the findings from the Mutuals in Health Pathfinder Programme.
