This toolkit includes short and long-form templates for preparing a national report on implementing international humanitarian law.

Details

The UK published a Voluntary Report on the implementation of International Humanitarian Law (IHL) at domestic level in March 2019. The UK government aims to encourage and support other countries to produce a report on their own national implementation of IHL.

In collaboration with the British Red Cross, the government has produced this toolkit to provide practical guidance for countries to research and draft their own reports. It includes 2 optional templates, for short and more detailed implementation reports, as well as guidance on how to publish a report.
