Response to unaccompanied asylum-seeking children report

A response to the inspection report by the Independent Chief Inspector of Borders and Immigration into the handling of asylum applications made by unaccompanied children.



The Home Office accepts all 9 of the recommendations by John Vine, the Chief Inspector, and has addressed 5 through recent operational improvements and has put action plans in place for the remaining 4.
