Details

This guide provides an introduction to the running of a VTS regardless of its location, business size or the vehicle classes it tests.

The guide is useful for authorised examiners (AE), testers and those who support or assist a compliant VTS.

You should read the guide if you carry out your own site assessments or contract out some of your management and quality control processes.

The guide gives best practice advice on systems and how to evidence them as DVSA assesses every VTS for the potential risk of non-compliance.

For more information on this process please see our ‘MOT site assessment risk scoring guide’.
