The Efficiency and Reform Group supported departments in delivering savings of £3.75 billion in 2010 to 2011 and £5.5 billion in 2011 to 2012. For 2012 to 2013, departments reported savings of £10 billion – an increase of 82% from the previous year. These savings have been reviewed and verified by independent auditors.
