These publications set out rules for all pre-reform AS and A levels.

They do not apply to any of the reformed AS and A levels.

March 2017 Errautum notice

This document was updated in March 2017 to correct the following errors which differed from the correct version of the relevant Conditions originally published on 15 July 2016:

  • GCE(pre-reform)10.5: Corrected: “Where the arrangements specify a date by which a review of marking of Marked Assessment Material must be requested, the date must” to: “The arrangements must provide that”
  • GCE(pre-reform) 9: Corrected title from: “Review of Moderation” to: “Administrative Error Review”
  • Minor typographical errors in the following Conditions: GCE(pre-reform) 3.1; 4.1; 11.7; 16.1; 17.2; 18.4.

February 2017

We have published our Requirements for key dates which come into force on 1 May 2017. These are requirements which an awarding organisation must comply with from that date, when it specifies deadlines for requesting reviews of marking, reviews of moderation and appeals.
