Details

To give details of the partners to include in the Gaming Duty Register, you can either:

  • use the online service
  • fill in the form on-screen, print it off and post it to HMRC

Email HMRC to ask for this form in Welsh (Cymraeg).

How to use the online form

You’ll need to sign in to use the online service. If you do not already have sign in details, you’ll be able to create them.

If you use the online service, you’ll get a reference number. Use this to track the progress of your form.

How to use the print and post form

You will fill this form in online and you cannot save your progress. It is best to get all of your information together before you start.

Excise Notice 453: Gaming Duty
This notice explains the Gaming Duty regime, how the duty is charged and who has to pay.

Gambling duties: application to register for Gaming Duties (GD56)
Use the online service or the postal form to register for Gaming Duty.

Gambling duties: notification of premises (GD58)
Use the online form to tell HMRC about premises you want to include in, or remove from your entry on the Gaming Duty Register.

Gambling duties: apply for group treatment for Gaming Duty (GD60)
Use form GD60 to set up a new gaming duty group, or to disband a group altogether.

You must register online for General Betting Duty, Pool Betting Duty or Remote Gaming Duty.

You must file your returns online for gambling tax return.
