Research into the public’s understanding of use of drones. The research looked into their attitudes towards:

  • current use
  • expectations
  • aspirations
  • concerns about future use

The research was made through a number of public dialogues and commissioned in early 2016.

This dialogue was used to inform the consultation on the safe use of drones in the UK.
