If Parliamentary time permits, we propose that these provisions form a Bill to give effect to a number of institutional changes in Northern Ireland.

These would include ending dual mandates between the Northern Ireland Assembly and the House of Commons; providing more transparency on party funding; and implementing changes to provide greater security of tenure for the NI Justice Minister.

In addition, we also plan to use the Bill to implement a number of significant improvements to the administration of elections in NI, following recommendations made by the Electoral Commission and Chief Electoral Officer for NI.
