Details

Since the beginning of the programme, Public Health England (PHE) has been monitoring the effectiveness of the vaccines in the real world as set out in the COVID-19 vaccine surveillance strategy and the impact on:

  • symptomatic disease
  • hospitalisation
  • death
  • infection (symptomatic or asymptomatic)
  • transmission

Further reports on monitoring of the effectiveness of COVID-19 vaccination have been published.

Reports from week 39 are available and reports prior to week 19 are available as part of the National flu and COVID-19 surveillance reports.
