1.1 2 August 2016 Section 2 Removed references to collection of data by former PCT as the COVER programme will no longer be accepting PCT submissions from April 2016.
    Section 6 Added definitions for calculating 12 month and 24 month vaccine coverage for the new meningococcal group B (MenB) immunisation programme, introduced in the UK in September 2015 routinely for all babies born on or after 1 July 2015. Reference to the removal of infant MenC dose from the routine schedule in July 2015. 12 month MenC coverage for children born from 1 April 2016 will not be evaluated by the COVER programme. 1.4 June 2020   How has the COVER programme changed?
    Section 1.4 The experimental GP practice-level vaccine coverage collection that was previously collected by NHS England has merged with the COVER local authority-level collection. Both datasets are now submitted using a single, combined template via the NHS Digital Strategic Data Collection Service (SDCS) portal.
    Section 1.4 From June 2020, there is an additional field to capture the number of children who have received the first dose of PCV vaccine (PCV1) by the first birthday. For children who were eligible for 2 primary doses under the previous schedule (those born prior to 1 January 2020), each dose will be reported separately (PCV1 and PCV2). For children eligible for a single primary dose, only PCV1 will be reported.
    Section 5 and 6 Updated to reflect changes in COVER Information Standard DCB0089 Amd 19/2017 following changes in the immunisation schedule. An additional data item for first dose of PCV1 by the first birthday.
