This user guide provides an overview of the chemical recovery navigation tool (RNT) and chemical recovery record form (RRF).

These tools, developed to complement the existing UK Recovery Handbook for Chemical Incidents, cover the three environments of food production systems, inhabited areas and water environments (including drinking water supplies).

The tools guide users through the decision frameworks described in the handbook and record the decisions made, to offer a clear, auditable record of the decision process. This guide gives comprehensive instructions on using the tools, together with examples.
