This letter and annexe provide information on the change of vaccine for the routine pneumococcal vaccination programme for adults, for those aged 2 years and above in clinical risk groups for pneumococcal disease, and for children aged less than 2 years of age with asplenia, splenic dysfunction, complement disorder and severe immunosuppression.
