2.For sporadic human cases of avian influenza and their contacts - refer to “Managing sporadic avian influenza human spillover cases and their contacts in England”.

It is important to note that for avian influenza exposures involving any subtype, guidance on dosages of antiviral prophylaxis are set out in the Patient Group Direction for pre- and post-exposure prophylaxis of avian influenza.
