In 2016, Government appointed Elizabeth Corley CBE, Vice Chair of Allianz Global Investors, to chair an Advisory Group looking at how to create a culture of social impact investment and savings in the UK. The group includes senior representatives from across the investment and savings industry.
In July 2017 Elizabeth Corley sent a letter to the Minister for Sports and Civil Society, Economic Secretary to the Treasury, and the Minister for Pensions and Financial Inclusion to provide a progress update on the group’s work. The letter and annex set out key lines of enquiry to prepare the ground for the group’s recommendations to both industry and government, which will be published in Autumn 2017.
