The Driving Standards Agency (DSA) was responsible for road safety in Great Britain by setting standards for driving and motorcycling, and for the education and training of drivers and riders. It was also responsible for carrying out theory and practical driving and riding tests. These roles are now carried out by the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA).
