The VMD have published a summary and full review of adverse events from 2018
A data dashboard of adverse event data is also available.
As a consequence of post authorisation surveillance the product information leaflets for 50 authorised veterinary medicines were improved during 2018. The improvements included the addition of extra adverse signs detected during product use, and greater emphasis on observing contraindications and warnings.
To ensure the safety, quality and efficacy of veterinary medicines adverse event reports should be submitted using our online reporting service.
