New ministerial appointments July 2016: Ministers of State at DWP and MOD
Penny Mordaunt is Minister of State at the Department for Work and Pensions, and Mike Penning is Minister of State at the Ministry of Defence.
The Queen has been pleased to approve the following ministerial appointments:
- Penny Mordaunt MP as Minister of State at the Department for Work and Pensions
- Rt Hon Mike Penning MP as Minister of State at the Ministry of Defence
The following ministers have left the government:
- Rt Hon Anna Soubry MP
- Baroness Altmann CBE
Further ministerial appointments will be announced this evening.
