Influenza vaccine uptake in frontline healthcare workers – data collection

The Department's influenza vaccine uptake monitoring team have written to colleagues in PCTs and SHAs regarding responsibilities for data collection.

Under the the Review of Central Returns licence ROCR/OR/0270/000MAND, all Trusts are responsible for the central return of data on the uptake of influenza vaccine in frontline healthcare workers during the 2011/12 influenza season. SHAs must check and validate the data provided.

Further instructions are provided for PCT commissioners in light of the ongoing reorganisation of primary care.
