During the 12 weeks of consultation, the MOD received over 180 formal and many other responses by email, web and in workshops. This publication explains the process of the consultation and summarises the responses.

Following the publication of the green paper ‘Equipment, support and technology for UK defence and security: a consultation paper’, a formal consultation was held.
This consultation, led by the Ministry of Defence and the Home Office, covered a range of issues including national security, working with other countries, exports, small and medium sized enterprises (SME’s) and cyber security. This was the first time these issues had been considered together from both defence and security perspectives.
